women's hair clips online

intro hi everyone it's april with hair 101i'm going to show you how to do a faded haircut with no attachments if you're wondering what attachments are these little guards are attachmentswhen i went to hair school i did a barbering programthey had a great program they had a cosmetology side and then a barbering sideso in order to get your license you had to spend certain semesters in both

i actually learned how to do barberingwe learned how to do straight edged shaves with the straight edgethat was their main thing we did not even have these at school they weren't even allowed in the roomthese were very bad and the reason whyi always wondered why they told us that the reason why i know now is becauseif you can learn how to cut hair without those and do a great fade without thoseyou can blend almost anything it teaches you the basics and the little thingsif you make a little gouge out of it

how are you going to blend it you can shape the hair and mold it with these two things pretty much any way you want and the other thing is that cuts the hairthe exact same length all the way upwhen you do it this way it goes from almost baldvery gradually it has a really pretty shape all the way up i don't want to go bald!i don't want you to go bald either not until you are really oldyou do want me to go bald?? if you are 110 i wouldn't mind it

i am very excitedthis is the video right after we did the giveaway so guess what that meanswe are picking the winner today. so at the end of this video we're going to announce who won the basket full of my favorite things and we are very excited about giving that away hopefully we can get it to you before christmas we are going to see how much i actually remember from hair school this is closed and this is open i'm going to start with it openand i'm doing to do the edges around here don't you dare!don't i dare what???

this is one of my favorite thingsthis is my son zade he's 7 and a half and he's very fun half and a quarterhe's a very good modelhe's seven and 3/4ths okay here we go you ready??you can't wiggle when i do this we can have silly time after we are done with your hair you are going to stand in front of where you are working this is the motion from the clippers that you are going to have it's going to have this curvelike a flick of the wrist

that's what will give you that taper too okay zadei'm going to do the talking from now on because i have to teach them how to do thisgot it! flip the wristand it gets a little trick over here you have to tilt their head because you are getting behind the ear right here i just go around like this for the first pass just to get that bulk gone stepping on my chord here alright this needs to be a little lower.so it's important

you are not too high or too low when you're workingyou want it to be where you would rest your arm we are going to go ahead and start to flick this up you can pull that ear down a little bitbe careful around the ears you don't want to nick that skin it's really sensitive right there if you don't drop the comb a couple times it's not a good haircut now we are to the back and i'm going to do the same thing so you have this area all the way around about the same lengthokay look down!make sure they are looking down

okay now we are going to go to the back you are doing great look down... alright make sure that your guard is not slippingsometimes it'll vibrate and get shorteri always keep my finger there around the ear same as the other one you'll get better at this little flick

as you practice at first it's kinda hardbecause it's scary just to go in there and flip it up butyou get the hang of it after the first few timeslook up! there you go there's hair getting in my mouthyou gotta hold still flick i know. stick your tongue outthere's no hair in your mouth i swallowed it that means you're talking too much if there's hair in your mouthyou're crazy!!! i love you buddywho you calling crazy

okay look up hold still right there okay look straight in the mirror zade okay look downhis hair grows this way like thisso when i go down here i have to angle the shears the clippers towards the way that the hair grows so that it can get the same length we're almost there

now that that's done i'm going to take my little t-edgers and i'm going to shape out the sideburns i'm going to do them at this line on his ear and shape it out on the sidesokay look down again in the back i usually make a line right where the hairline starts be careful not to push too hard becausethis can pinch them a little bit get all the little fuzzies outwe don't like that on your neck huh

they are cute but we need to get rid of them around the earand then the sideburn and to check thesei look right in front of them to make sure they look the same length be really careful around the ears to get all the little hairs and to make sure you don't cut them so now our baseline is established i'm going to take the clippers and i'm going to close them now so now they are going to look like thisthey were like this for the fade partnow they are like this

i'm going to use my comb and my clippers and fade this from where we have it now up to about the roll of the head up herealways standing where you are working don't reach aroundkeep your arms right herewe are going to comb down and then we are going to lift up that hairand cut off anything you notice i'm kind of angling the comb out a little bitthat's going to help us have a fade

sit up nice and straightthank you sweetheart you go all the way okay then we are going to move over to the next little section so we are picking up this hair with the comb blending it all in this does take a lot more time but if you take the time to learn this first when you are in hair school or when you are first starting cutting hairit's going to help you in the long run you're going to be a lot better at all of your cutsfor womens or mens

everything because you'll be able to shape hair better so i'm combing down where i see any heavy lines sticking up and angling that comb slightlymore of a straight up and down see the comb stays there is some that we missedit stays on the same plane like a straight up and down wall you can comb the hair sideways if it's growing in funny patterns

sometimes guys will come in and they'll have a funny hat lineif it's real bad i will wash and dry them just to get that heavy line out so you can see what you are doing if it's just the way their hair grows he just woke up from sleepingso i'll take it at an angle just to get some of the bulk out of there right here is really heavyyou can take this notch it out and go back in and do the cleanup work this way sometimes you can go at an angle in the back here

zade pick a spot on the walland that helps you blend it up because you can keep the comb on the bottom of their head and you can bring it around that way you can see how this is coming together now so the reason why i switched as soon as i got into a salon from doing this way in hair schoolwas because i found it a lot more efficient with time to use the guards like i saidi'm so glad that i learned how to do it this way because i can grab a pair of clippers

it doesn't even matter. any pair of clippers that worksand a comb and i can do a haircut if i didn't have guardsif i lost my guards any situation you might end up inif you're at someones house and they don't have them sometimes on womens haircuts i can use the clippers to do some detail work around on the shorter haircuts if you pulled a guard out and did the haircut it would look really square this can give more shape to your haircutsyou have a lot more freedom

you can decide how short or how long how drastic you want your taper that was to remove the bulk so we are going to pull it up like thisi angle the comb like this so that it's short around the faceyou'r pushing against my goosebump you still have a goosebump ??yes well you can't see iti can still feel it okay i'm sorry that i did that so the reason why we do the angle here

is it keeps it short right around the face then it gives it a little bit more length as it comes back in herebecause on a taper anywhere that the hair line goesit's where it's really short then it slowly builds into more thickness if your hair is growing away you can push it forward like thisand then nick off those little ends there you go. hold still right thereyou always want to make sure that the person you're cutting is doing their best to look straight little kids it's a lot harderthat's why it's easier to do the guard on little kids

that are wiggling toobut zade's being really good he's being still like a mannequin really still like a mannequin alright now i'm going to look in the mirror and see if we have any big dark spots see there is a dark spot right here.it's probably just a little bit too long hold still for a secondhold really still i don't want to make your haircut yucky okay we're ready to cut

the top and the sidesso now we are going to take the spay bottle and get it wet strum the hair a little bit make it saturate the haircan you spray some in my face?? i just got my shears sharpenedthey feel great i'm excitedthis is the first cut i've done since i got them sharpened yesterday what is sharpened??i got my shears sharpened?? i usually cut my hand when i sharpen my shearsi'm a little reckless now that we have it wet

we're going to start on the sideand you can see from all this hair that we've blended upsee how it has a little bit of length still in herethat's going to be our guide then we are going to take it and cut it straight out at a straight line like this there we go you have to make sure at the back of his head if you have a weightline go from right hereyou can see that there is hair that barely reaches in my fingertipsthat's where you are cutting from

that will take away your weight-line sorry you want me to spray your face?? hair in my mouthhere let's wipe your face is that better does that have poop on it?it's a butt wipe it was clean so i'm right here in the back i'm going to pull the hair

there's my guide ok there is a little bit of bulk right in here that i can go through with my scissors and i'll do comb over shears okay hold still no don't move anythingcan i move my toes?? makes you wiggleare you wiggling your toes?? you little stinkeri'm kidding you can move your toes zade i know this is the long way to cut hair it is hardit's not hard for mom

to sit still but it's hard for you to sit still all i want for christmasthat's all your getting just kiddingwhat do you want for christmas? those two swords that we saw at walmart is that what you want from santa??? unless you buy it for me i'm going to buy you somethingmaybe underwear i already have a lot of underwear you need morei have enough!

maybe i won't get you that that's the worst christmas present unless you really need it remember when you gave me a pencil in a limeit was an orange well i told you if you open your christmas presents earlythey turn into bad presentsyou didn't believe me but then you found out the hard way is that right zade? no you didn't say thati said "you can have that christmas presentbut if you open it

before christmas then it turns into a bad present i didn't open it before christmasi remember do you remember what happened after you opened the present?yes what happened?it was a pencil in an orange but what happened?i threw it at you what happened it fell off the pencil and smacked you in the head so i'm blending the back a little

bit more if you have any more heavy lines right here take the shearslift up the comb and softly nick those ends right at the lineand it should blend it in now we are going to do the topi'm going to pull it straight up then i usually pull it forward just a little bit that helps give it some length on the top if you pull it forwardand then i am

point cuttingand there are guides you should be able to see a shortsection of hair and i make it just a little bitgraduated so i start from those guides and i point cut and make it a little bit longer in the topfor this haircut now we are going to comb it all the way back i look weird you look awesome and we're going to do the mohawk section of the haircut

go from the front and point cut back follow your guide all the way to where it should meet up with this one back here okay so now i'm going to do the two side sections and i'm using the mohawk and the guide from over here to determine how short i cut the middle sectionso i start there and i make them match all the way backmoving back

one fourth to one half of an inchprobably half of an inch i always cross check when i'm done i'm going to go to this side nowand on this side i've foundmaybe it's just me but i usually have to do it this way how i'm doing it nowthen i go back and stand in front also to help match up the guide on the side maybe it's just the way i'm holding my fingersbut that's how i do it so i go up here in the front and make sure that i didn't miss anysee there's a little bit of length right there

because i can see better doing thisand i comb the hair the other way angle of my fingers or somethingand with his hair he has these little pieces right here around his face that we like to chop out you're cutting off my bangs!! when we spike his hair it goes this way and so it sticks out a little bit so i taper them a little bitso when his hair is sticking out a little bit it doesn't stick out past where the rest of it is

just tapering that in see how it grows the opposite way right here on his face it has a curl so i lift it out hold really still and i'll pull it forward and chop it offor i'll lift it like that it doesn't do anything except for make the haircut look like he doesn't have that little spiral thereit's correctingcause when we spike it i don't like it when he

has hairs that are sticking outthey are the same length if you don't cut them they look longer because of the way the hair pushes them out i just cross-checkedto make sure we didn't have any long spots how long until this is over?? we're almost done so if you want the mohawk look it's okay to leave a little bit more length in the middlethis time i'm trying to make it more blended so cross-checking we cut the hair this way like in sections like thisso if you wanted to cross-check

you would pull the hair up the opposite directionyou can see there's a little variations and wavesif you see anything really long you can chop it offanything longer than the rest you don't just go chopping into itif there is something that looks out of place the reason why there are a little bit different lengths is because when you are pinching the hair like thisit creates that different wave because you are over directing some of the hair into where your fingers are cutting yes cross-checking is when

you pull it up the other way make sure you don't have any really long pieces the other thing i like to do is put my fingers in there and feel itand make sure the sides are both about the sameand there you have it that's how i learned how to cut hair i hope that i made my instructors proud by not doing it with the guardsbut like i said

i use the guards now because it's faster that's just what i do greetings from utahwe are here to announce the winner of the favorite things nope going to try it againgreetings everyone from utah! nope that is lame!greetings everyone from snowy utah we are going to announce the winner from our favorite things giveaway it is lauren coughlincongratulations we are so excited here's your basketwe will ship it to you as soon as you contact us through facebook and let us know what your address ismerry christmas!!
