5 beauty products a month

hey everybody how are you? welcome back to my channel! so today's video is going to be me talking about my current skincarefavorites. i feel like it's being a good while! probably about nine months or so since ispoke about my skincare favorites. i figured it's time for an update, so ifyou are interested in watching at this type of video then please keep watching before i get started i'm going tomention that i do have my window open, it is very ugly out! we are currently feeling the effects oftropical storm colin i believe, and it's

like, yeah. but i didn't want to keep mywindow open because it's kind of gloomy in here so hopefully the lighting is ok.so if you guys don't know, and haven't been on my channel i am a licensedesthetician. i did go to a esthetician school, and i have a few videos i thinktalking about that and i have gotten requests to do an update about myexperience there which i am working on. i found out that i was like "combo normaldry" type skin instead of oily and my skin did change a lot during pregnancybut i feel like it's been going a little bit crazy lately. i feel like my hormonesare starting to just balance out because i have been breastfeeding and i'm like atmy last stretch of breastfeeding so i

feel like they're starting to just gohaywire again. besides the occasional like hormonalbreak out which i do get, my skin has been on the clear side. besides some black heads that i havebeen fighting around my chin like crazy, i also felt like my main issue besidesthe blackheads was texture, uneven skin tone and acne marks. my skin is the type of skin that always marks and scars. without a doubt no matter when i touchit or not, it is going to scar. i really just wanted something that would helpwith that,

so i picked up the clarisonic mia 2.this was part of the "faded rose floral favorites" set from sephora, it was a$149, which is really great because it came with twobrush heads. the one that i currently have is the radiance brush head. i prettymuch use this morning and night unless i feel like i need to givemy skin a break. which happens about once or twice a week, and then i'll skip likea nighttime use or morning use and just use my hands. for the most part i use this everyday and i really really like it! i think it has been making a bigdifference in the amount of breakouts

and how long my breakout stay so i wantto speak about that because i know a lot of people talk about clarisonic. and eventhough it is very expensive it is a very good investment to get adevice that will cleanse your skin better than just your fingers. it's not anecessity but it will help a lot! these are the "simple cleansing facialwipes dupes," i call them. this is the equate beautybrand of that, they are sensitive cleansing facial wipes. its gentle on theskin, vitamin enriched, it doesn't have alcohol, oil, perfume, or dyes. i prefer the equate version over thesimple just because you get more, and i

feel like they are the same. these are probably the only makeup wipesthat do not break me out that i've tried. i've tried neutrogena, i've tried ponds, i've tried a few of them and those havebroken out, these havent. i think i'm just very sensitive to those perfumes, dyes, and and alcohol. so sensitive wipes are like my best friend! i love it! then after i remove my makeupwith that, i use my cleanser. my current my cleansers, ok, let me just take it backa sec. my cleansers change frequently! like by frequently maybe every month orso, maybe every two months i will change

my cleansers. cuz i like trying differentcleansers and i don't want my skin to get used to a specific cleanser. so i've been using this one for the pastcouple months and i really really like it before this i was using the korresgreek yogurt cleanser. which i love, and i will probably go back to because iseriously feel like my skin misses that. but this one is really good as well. this is the "rain forest of the sea deepdive cleansing gel" by tart. what i really like about this is that itis hypoallergenic it removes impurities and waterproofmakeup. it's also infused with lavendar

oil and vitamin c to brighten. your goingto see a common theme among all of my skincare favorites. that i love stuffthat brightens because of all my uneven skin tone, acne marks, and acne scars.i look for things that will brighten and nourished my skin. this one definitely does that. if youlove the scent of lavender you will love it, especially for nighttime. it's verycalming! i'm going to move on to moisturizers.so, i switch between a few moisturizers. i'm always trying different morestrategies to see what will work best with my skin.

currently i am loving these three. irecently spoke about this one right here. it's a bit bright and being washed outon my camera. this is the korres "suncare yogurtnourishing fluid vail face sunscreen" with spf 30. i have been using this ever sincei got it. i absolutely love it! especially for now i'm going to be in the sun ithink is totally amazing for that because it has spf 30 which is ideal foryour face this retails for $35 and you get 1.69oz.you can get this on the sephora website. what i really like about this, is that itis very sensitive and nourishing. i can

definitely tell it hydrates. it has thatstrong sunscreen smell which i like because it reminds me of the summertime.but, if you don't like that obviously you might have an issue with it. i have it on under my makeup today and ilove it! it's very very nourishing without beinggreasy, or making me more oily in my "t zone," because i do get a little oily inmy "t-zone," and it doesn't do anything like that. another thing that i use in the morningis this baby right here. this is the garnier 'skin active clearly brightersunscreen" with spf 15.

this one also is brightening andsmoothing and you can use it as a daily moisturizer. when i know i'm not going to be in thesun that long or as often or like barely outside, i will reach for this andalternate with this one just because this has more spf. so if i know i'm goingto be outside i will use this, but if not then i'll use this for its brighteningeffect. i believe this was like $12 or$13 at walmart, and you get to 2.5 fl oz. but ifi'm wrong i'll have it listed down below where you can get this and how much itis.

so my nighttime moisturizer changes sooften because i'm always looking for something that will just do it all forme. whether it brightens, moisturizes, clearsmy skin, like anything that i need i am going to try it. so i'm alwayschanging it up. i recently got this through octoly. this isthe korres "wild rose advanced brightening sleeping facial," and latelyi've been loving this and using this more than anything elsethat i have. and what this is supposed to do is be more than a mask but more thana moisturizer. it contains wild rose oil boosted withvitamin c that supposed to brighten your

skin and fade dark marks, and uneven skintone. which is what i look for obviously, that's what i've been saying like thisentire video. it also can retexturize and address premature aging in your skin, and i need to rretexturize my face so another plus right there. its very verymoisturizing. you do feel a little bit of tingling, which i feel like since i'msensitive that happens with anything that has vitamin c in it for me. the only thing that i'd have to say isthat the smell if you love the the rose smell likethe super intense smell of roses you will love this. me personally it getsto be a little bit much, and i feel like

after a while it's sitting on my skin atnight like i can smell it and i smell it all night and it drives me crazy and then my pillow smells like it andit's probably just me because i'm sensitive to smells like that and if it doesn't fade away i willnotice. but, i still love it. i still use it every night it's not something that'sgoing to deter me from using it because i do want all the benefits of using thiscream so i'm willing to deal with the smell but i was letting you guys knowthat. it is very very heavily scented so ifyou are sensitive for that you might not

like this but i think you guys shouldgive it a shot if you have uneven skin tone and dark spots and everything likei do, and you need some extra moisture, extra moisture at night you definitely should give this a try. soi have more information on this down below. typically i'll switch between a sheetmask and a mud type mask. the sheet masks that i've been loving lately are thesebio republic sheet masks. i'm always getting these in my beauty boxes this islike always in my collection. i try not to use it often, these are $4.99 each on the bio republic's website and

i have the" green tea detox purifyingfiber mask" the "aloe rescue revitalizing fiber mask and then the cucumber breezesoothing fiber mask. i love these two masks right here. the aloe and thecucumber for when my skin is just having a bad day, if i use something that wastoo harsh on my skin and it needs to calm down, or if i was in the sun for awhile and my skin needs to calm down. i'll use one of these two. i like sheet mask because you can leavethe residue you don't have to wash it off which is really really great. mud masks that i've been loving latelyare these two things.

i'll talk about this first because thisi got recently in an ipsy bag. this is the formula 10.0.6 "poresbe pure skin clarifying mud mask" with strawberry and yarrow don't exactly knowwhat yarrow is, but it smells amazing. it says that this skin refining maskwith berry boosters go straight to work on clogged pores. strawberry and rosemary eliminateimpurities while yarrow clarify skin for instant complexion perfection. i really like this because when i applythis on my face you can feel it working and you can feel it detoxifying and likegoing to work on clogging your pores

but then when you remove it feels veryvery hydrating it's not one of those mud masks that is like super drying yourface and you need to moisturize after like immediately this actually leaves my skin very verymoisturized, and smells really good the full size versionof this is $6.99 at ulta which is fairly inexpensive, and right now, as of the daythat i'm uploading this; this is at ulta for buy one get one half off. so if youare interested they have this and a whole bunch of other type of mask. i'm very interested in trying those outand getting a full size of this but i

really have been loving this one. then finally we are on to my last product. this is the queen helene "mudpack masque." itis for toxin relief and revitalizes and detoxifies and it is anti-aging. i pickedthis up because when i was in school i actually use this quite often on clientsthat had acne prone skin or on back facials. we did facials on the back, yeah.we'll talk about that in that video and i just really really like it's just agood old mud mask that will never let you down i had this planet which isstill there. this planet was on my face for the pastlike two days and i was sick of it

so i decided to spot treat this lastnight and put this on it and i woke up and it was almost completely gone likethat great it really does a great job of detoxifying so if you are interested intrying this out i'll leave this down below so you guys can try it out. idefinitely recommend it. so that is it for my skincare favoritesvideo i really hope you guys enjoyed it and hopefully i didn't talk too much. hopefully this video is not too long; buti really wanted to share my skincare favorites with you guys. what have youbeen loving for skincare lately? i really want to see your product recommendationsin my comments down below, so i can try

some more products out! but i love youguys so much and i will see you in my next video. bye!!
