hey, fashionsistas! welcome to this week’sepisode of fast fridays, the place to be for quick fashion and beauty tips to help youget out the door every morning looking and feeling amazing. today i’m gonna talk about makeup brushes.i personally know that when it comes to makeup brushes, it can be really confusing becausethere are so many different types. and unless you are a makeup artist or a huge makeup junkiejust like myself, you don’t really need every single brush in the world. you onlyneed a few essential brushes to create your everyday makeup looks. i remember the firsttime i went to a department store to buy makeup brushes, i was so overwhelmed by the amountof makeup brushes there that the makeup artist
ended up selling me so many that i didn’tactually need and i ended up throwing them out. so today i’m gonna go through six essentialmakeup brushes that you can use everyday. first up is the foundation brush. a foundationbrush is gonna give you a really lightweight, even and smooth finish to your foundation.and it is not recommended for you to use your fingertips or sponge to apply your foundation, because your fingertips can actually produce oil, which can later breakout and damage yourpores and makeup sponges also hang on to bacteria and they also use up a lot of product so you’llfind that you’ll be wasting your foundation because it is being soaked by the sponge.sponges are great so those beauty blender that you can wash blending are very good forblending in when you are contouring and highlighting.
number two is the concealer brush. a concealerbrush is great for using the cream or liquid concealers to cover dark circles and any blemishes.it’s definitely best to blend a concealer using a brush, not with your fingertips orsponge because your fingertips and sponge actually wipe away any concealer. so if you’retrying to get a heavy coverage, lightly blending it with the concealer brush, it will reallygonna give you that finish. number three is a big puffy powder brush.a powder brush is used to apply loose or pressed powder and is recommended over a puff becauseof the flared shape. it applies powder really smoothly and evenly and gonna give you a reallysmooth and luminous finish rather than a heavy and uneven coverage.
number four is a blush brush. blush brushesare cut on an angle to mold to the cheekbones for smooth application and natural finishmuch better alternative to the small shaper brush that comes with a blush. number five is an eyeshadow brush. there’sso many different types of eye shadow brushes out there that can be really hard to tellwhich one you need. so the standard all rounder eyeshadow brush is long, bristled and flared,so it’s really good for dusting a dark to light eye shadow. you can soften the intensityof the color and really illuminate your eyes so it is the perfect all rounder. number six is the eye crease brush. eye creasebrush is tapered in shape so it’s really
good for blending dark eye shadow to the innerand outer corner of your eye as well as your crease so it’s really good for applyingsomething dark and around in blend it in softly. and that’s my six staple makeup brushes.you don’t really need anything more than that if you’re just creating a simple everydaymakeup looks. even if you’re doing smokey eye, you can use two of the eye brushes thati talked about. i hope you loved this video and if you want to see more of fast fridays, please hit the thumbs up button. and remember you don’t need to be a model to look likeyou’ve stepped off the runway, you just need a killer wardrobe and some lipstick.i’ll see you in my next video. bye! hey, fashionsista! the aim of not a modelis to make sure you get out of the door every
