women's hair blowout

so i recently went to the salon and go a dominicanblowout. this blowout had my hair pin straight, but with so much heat put on my hair, thebig question everyone is wondering is.... as you can see i did not get any heat damage (no straight ends) which praise god...i was literally praying because there was so much heat onmy hair. i really think that what helped was some of the techniques and the preparationi did even before i walked into the salon that helped save my hair. so..i'm going togive you some of those tips. so if you wanna learn a little bit more...then stay tuned.now if you are familiar with dominican blow outs, dominican blowout focus on straighteningthe hair using primary the blowdryer. there is a lot of blowdrying... a lot of brushing, manipulation that..not just cause heat damage

but can cause breakage. now for my kinky, curly - coily ladies, when you have hair that is this curly - kinky all the way to 4a, b and c,you need to take these steps into consideration, because our hair does not like to be straight.our hair tries to revert back as fast as possible. so therefore, you will have more heat puton your hair, and that is more stress. one of the top tips that i can give to you isto make sure you deep condition. i made sure (before going to the salon) that i used a deep condition that would addprotein back into my hair. now again with all that heat styling, what you gonna be experiencingin the proteins being stripped away which causes that damage. so if you add that proteinso it minimizes that damage. now if you use only a protein treatment, you will find thatit can be drying on your hair and so you need

to follow up with a moisturizing deep conditioner.i like the deep conditioner that does two things at one time. i actually have one thatyou can actually check out..you can check out all my favorite products in my top fiveproducts for natural hair video which i will link right here. so, check it out and seethe products that i use to deep condition for heat styling. my next tip is to detangleand stretch your hair. when you go into a salon, many stylist don't work with our typeof hair. so they may not know how to deal with our hair. yeah...they went to cosmotologyschool, but that does not mean they know how to work with our hair. so giving them thatease...easability of detangling our hair before hand, and also stretching it so there is lessof a kink to work with it would be beneficial

to actually prevent breakage. threedays before my appointment, i detangled my hair, and i did a braid out. so you can see it wasa three-day braid out for me, and it was a lot easier for my stylist to work with. don't be afraidto speak up. if you don't feel comfortable how they manipulating your hair, what theyare doing with your hair, the products they are using...speak up. you are the one who'sspending $100 to get your hair done. you don't need to leave the hair salon missing halfof your hair. you spent way too long, too many years growing your hair to this lengthfor it to go all the way back to ear length! my stylist she was using a small tooth comb, and trying to detangle dry hair starting from the root and ripping out my hair... i hadto stop her and let her know this was not

ok. she had to get a wide-tooth comb get someconditioner and then proceed to detangle my hair..and i even helped (chuckle). don't beafraid to speak up. finally be knowledgable about the products the stylist is puttingin your hair. who knows, it maybe part of your next regimen, but seriously... you wantto know why the salon issuing those products. how is it different from this product andwhat will it do to your hair. this is going to save you from salon horror stories, trustme. ive seen and heard way to many stores about naturalistas go into the salon and thenthey leave with a perm (relaxer) because they did not know what products were being usedon their hair. so make sure you know what exactly the salonist is doing...and be knowledgeable.anyways...these are my tips and this is how

i prepared my hair before i walked into thesalon. if you guys have any tips, please leave them down below. i really do take into considerationwhat you guys say, and i do try out a lot of those things. so leave them down below, they may help other naturals out there. anyway...that is all for you guys today. if you like thiskind of video please give me a thumbs up and i''ll see you next time... bye!
